Supporting Successful Aging Through Community

We believe all older adults and their caregiver network should have access to the opportunities and resources they need to age successfully!

Through our community hub, a wide range of essential programs and services support participants as they adapt to life's changes while maintaining independence, physical health, mental sharpness, and meaningful social connections. Together, we empower individuals to continue living with purpose, dignity, and confidence as they age.

Serving 1 in 4 Older Coastside Adults

As we live longer and healthier lives, the number of older adults in our community has continued to grow!

The programs and services we provide are more crucial than ever to ensure ALL older Coastside adults stay connected, safe, and well. Donor support is fundamental to making it possible for us to strengthen our community through offering:

      • Meals delivered to homebound seniors/adults with disabilities and served in our congregate dining room
      • Classes & activities that meet the varying interests/needs of our participants (in-person, through Zoom and hybrid)
      • Transportation to and from our facility, to local grocery stores, and on outings
      • Care management for older adults and caregivers (including providing information, assistance, resources and referrals)
      • Minor home repairs that make the homes of Coastside older adults safe and accessible
      • Pet Buddy program that supports the furry friends of our participants
      • Volunteer opportunities that provide opportunities for social engagement and promote feelings of purpose and meaning

Mission

Our mission at Senior Coastsiders is to support successful aging for older Coastside adults by providing opportunities, services, and resources that meet their needs, enrich their lives, fosters their independence, and respects their creativity, dignity, and value.

Needs

Continued donor support is essential to our daily operations. As the older adult population on the Coastside continues to grow, sustained funding is needed to maintain and expand the vital safety-net services we provide. These contributions ensure older adults can access nutritious meals, meaningful social connections, and supportive programs that help them remain healthy, engaged, and independent.
