Our property is designed for groups to teach and learn various modalities, to envision and discuss ideas, and to spend time together through activities or contemplation, while also allowing for individual reflection. There are many spots on our land where you can deepen your experience, such as sitting near a tree or along Butano Creek, lying in the meadow, walking down a long dirt road, or exploring our gardens—all of which provide a path to peace and openness. Being in nature with others facilitates broader growth and helps us recognize connections to our patterns, ultimately leading us to discover healthy new directions in our lives.

Mission
Venture Retreat Center, was founded in the early 1960's by a group of Bay Area pioneering individuals. The group was rooted in what was later coined "The Human Potential Movement," and held workshops, retreats and training sessions to explore the big questions of, "Who are we? Why are we here?."
In the decades since, Venture has remained an active retreat, workshop and training hub in Northern California for groups dedicated to personal, spiritual, ecological, and community growth. In addition to retreat groups, we host conscious Bay Area companies who are looking for a unique space for offsite retreats, as well as nature-loving couples who want to create a magical multi-day experience for their family and friends!
Needs
We are seeking funds, volunteers, donated services and donated building supplies to help us with the storm cleanup and repairs.
