Coastal Rep has been a mainstay on the coastside for over 39 years and is a key asset to the region. Our mission is to present high-quality live theatre for the community by the community, and we are a home for emerging talent as well as a family of artists from all around the Bay Area. We deliver programming for every age, interest, and background and invest in vibrant year-round women-led theatre education programs for K-12 students of every ability. We also enjoy an incredible multitude of indispensable volunteers! Come join us!

More About Coastal Rep

Coastal Repertory Theatre is your home for Broadway-style live theatre productions, and an active student performing arts program, enriching the lives of kids through the arts. We thoughtfully curate each season with something for everyone.  In 2025, we will have 5 main stage performances plus our Coastal Rep Kids' Theatre (CRKT) productions and summer camps, all set in our 158-seat theatre. 

Over 2,400 students have participated in our comprehensive, year-round theatre education program for K-12 students, Coastal Rep Kids' Theatre (CRKT). Participants explore all of the aspects of theatre and the process of creating and putting on a show. Students will act, sing, dance, design costumes and more! Your gifts ensure that no student is turned away because of inability to pay.

This summer we will undergo some necessary equipment upgrades which will help keep Coastal Rep on par with industry standards and enable us to deliver the very best theatre experience for everyone. We are thrilled to report that, because of your generosity, we have met our preliminary financial goal. But we still need your support to make additional infrastructure enhancements that must be addressed. We can't do it without you!

From the actors on stage, the crew running lights and sound, and the volunteers who share their love of live theatre, all are endlessly grateful to have this gem in our community and we need your help to continue to thrive.

Theatre arts lovers and active volunteers all find a welcoming home at Coastal Rep, and quickly become integrated into our "theatre family," where we inspire, entertain, and educate - connecting people to ideas and each other, promoting discourse, discovery, and creativity.
