A new Coastside Aquatics Center in our community!

This fundraiser is to kick start the Feasibility Study for a new Coastside Aquatic Center in Half Moon Bay. FOHMBPAR (“Friends") has been working on this project for a number of years.

Recently, our organization has met with several pool design firms to discuss what a feasibility study for a new Aquatic Center should include. The Feasibility Study will cost approximately $90,000.00. The study will evaluate replacement pool(s) at HMB high school, but will also include an analysis of other feasible Aquatic Center sites on the high school campus and analysis of other possible sites in HMB, to ensure we end up with the most cost-effective and community-beneficial site possible. There will also be community out-reach as part of the feasibility study to learn what the residents on the coastside truly want in a new Aquatic Center.
