Linda LOVED being involved in Emergency Communications and she LOVED the La Honda Fire Brigade. She was on the Board for over 12 years, serving as President for several of those years. She WAS the driving force behind our Fundraising Events: The La Honda Fair and her famous pulled-pork, the amazing Pancake Breakfasts, and of course Cioppino. “Cioppino was Linda’s SUPER BOWL”. 

Alice's Restaurant is sponsoring a Coastside Gives Fundraiser in memory of Linda Bennett and her many achievements for our community. Alice's is also donating a $1000 Matching Grant for the first $1000 raised during this Fundraiser.  Your one dollar becomes two dollars!!

Funds raised in Coastside Gives this year will be used to replace the Technical Rescue Trailer that is in a state of disrepair, and refresh lifesaving equipment in the trailer that is utilized for rescue incidents, large animal rescue, confined space rescue, and structural collapse.
